Summer - package exchange with Lotta. She gave me wonderfulness (second picture) that made me extremely happy. One (three) of the things were these beautiful camel (kameel) maps (shitty webcam picture doesnt do them justice) that I've been in love with since I first saw them in our art supplies store but never bought them. tack tack tack <3.

I'm having a cold and am hiding in the hallway of this beautiful house because we have internet here and I'm getting tired of being with my parents and brother 24/7. After tomorrow we'll be touring through the desert for 3 weeks. whoop.

"Why do I keep hearing this sniffing sound?"
"It's Bobby."
"Oh she's in the hallway?"
"Yes."

It's like Sweden here. In Melbourne it's full of cool people like in Sweden and I already said it smelled like Sweden there. Then we found these cute little Swedish-looking houses and today we had a 'family-party' and there was yummy yummy Swedish cider and I drank pretty much all of it.

Leisure Festival.

I'm going to be a Leisure-student! I'm so so so happy. For weeks all I've been thinking about is going to Leisure and now I finally know that I can. whoop whoop. Next year is going to be amazing.

We're now in Australia, close to Melbourne and it's winter so really cold, but beautiful here and we're staying with family who all are incredibly nice.

Hong Kong is quite an insane place, but I like it here. the buildings are incredibly high and they have escalators in the city. It's hot and for the first time in years I walked around barelegged. Now we're in a tiny hotel room and I'm listening to Sufjan Stevens and reading about art. Tomorrow we're going to Australia. I hope they have movies on the plane as well. That was exciting. meow. (I saw a cat today. It was the only animal I saw, besides a dead babybird on the street).

One last post before we go. Tomorrow I'm in Hong Kong! So exciting. My mum made me a supercute dress that I'm wearing right now and I've everything packed.
Pictures are from my school. I'd like to call it: post-evaluation warzone.
Now I need to run! byeee xx

Michael made us yummy pancakes with nutella and honey and strawberries and sprinkles. Sugarfest.

Nico works great, as long as you don't forget the lenscap and don't open it too early so you can avoid lightleaks. oops.

This week has been filled with amazing food and a lot of it. Lots of cake, pancakes and healthy delicious dinners.
I made a lot of small packages today with see-through envelopes filled with little treasures. I like doing this.

Tomorrow we're going away for five weeks. We'll go to Hong Kong first and then to Melbourne and then travel the westcoast of Australia. I am beyond excited!
Also: If you know good summer songs or mixes, please do let me know, all my music is still in winter and I want some nice new music.

Some things that haven't really left my side the past two weeks or so. The camera is called Nico (named after Nico from the Velvet Underground) and I got it from my dad: "I thought you needed a better camera, so I got you this, because you worked so hard". the lightmeter is amazing and the bag is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. Sent to me by Martin from Sova, the illustration is by Julea Dichte (who is amazing, really.)

This pictures is taken with little Gustav. He works perfect. I am now testing Nico. Need to have 36 pictures by friday so I can still see them before we go.

(pictures of my evaluation; drawings, books, architecture models of my house, magazine, architecture drawings, poster for cigarperformance with drawing by Lotta)

I passed my final evaluation, which also means I passed the first year of the Design Academy.
I can't believe this year is over. It feels like time has gone by so fast, although when I think back of the person I was when I started this and look at the person I am now, they feel so different.
This has definitely been the most intense year of my life (so far). I've never worked so hard, stayed up working for so many nights in a row, gone through such deep lows but also such high highs.
But it's been amazing. I got to know so many inspiring and wonderful people. And I've learned so much. I got accepted here with some 'graphic work', some photos and a few drawings. And now I've made chairs out of wood and metal, I've made ceramic vases, I did performances, learned about myself, painted huge paintings, drew a lot, made weird shapes, wrote articles, drew architecture plans etc.
But for now: Summer! I'm leaving for Australia this sunday which is amazing, but I will miss everyone here, after seeing them pretty much every day since this year started. I woke up to a text: "Bobby, what am I going to do without you? I already miss you." so today we did some Academy rehab, by hanging around school, drinking iced coffee. I do have quite a few wonderful non-academy adventures planned this week though, don't worry ;)

Right now I'd like to be somewhere else, in a city buzzing with life, lazying around and go on adventures with friends. I'd like to make packages and sent letters. Stay up all night and watch the sun rise, then go home to a beautiful house with a wooden floor and a red kitchen. Sleep all day and then cuddle up with wonderful people in a big bed to watch movies and eat pizza and chocolate. Take pictures in the evening sun by the lake or the ocean. Sit on top of a mountain and look out over the world.
I have now one more week of school and then finally some rest. Expect that I only have 1 week in the Netherlands after that and planned a bazillion things to do. After that we're leaving to Australia for five weeks.
For now, reading about spaces.
